Who Is Micheal?
Micheal Jefferson has dedicated his life to the enrichment of youth, families
and communities. He has astonished audiences around the world with his profound and
intriguing topics, such as, “Mommy, Daddy, Can I Have A Minute Of
Your Time,” “There’s Hope For The Battered,” From Victim To Victory,”
“Embryonic Gifts?”, “The Mask of Safety”, and “Unassigned Labels”.
Micheal
has a book soon to be released entitled: “Kids Are Like Omelets” each
chapter is an eye opener.
Micheal
has an extensive background in Human Services. Before he earned his
degree from Washburn
University, he had
already actively served many in the community. As a Licensed Minister, he
is a visionary, recognized as the “Go To Guy”. Already known as a social
intervener he has focused his services from purifying water in Cambodia to
building Food and Clothing Pantries in the states. Micheal’s passion is
implementing successful mentoring programs that teach a holistic approach
to improving lifestyles of youth and families.
He
is Founder and Director of High Hopes Excelling Youth Enterprise, Inc., where
he continues to accomplish his objectives without limitations.
His work with youth through the Kettering Foundation and Kellogg Corporation
has earned him much recognition including the nomination for the
“Outstanding Young American Award”, by former United States Senator and now
Governor Sam Brownback of KS. He is retired from the United States Army.
Adults need to remember the importance of being a good example. Kids want values, but they are rightly suspicious of talk without action. Of all the things that can motivate people, the pursuit of excellence is one of the most effective ways to do so, especially when combined with a positive can-do attitude.
